The Simplicity Systems RPN Scientific Calculator is a pop-up calculator designed to use RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) logic, similar to calculators from Hewlett-Packard. RPN allows the solving of complex mathematical equations without the use of parenthesis or punctuation by automatically retaining and returning intermediate results through the use of a multi-register automatic memory stack.
The Simplicity calculator contains five intermediate data registers (X, Y, Z, T, and Last X) and a 10-register memory, with registers numbered from 0 to 9. This memory is non-volatile and the contents are saved when you exit the calculator, and restored when you start the calculator. The calculator is also capable of performing memory math, and angle formatted (D.MMSS) math.
This calculator may be operated in two display modes: complete (showing all the register contents); and compact (showing only the calculator keys).
